Strictly The Answer

Oh yeah, we back in the house once again.
This time with a big bag of riddim.

To be specific, the Answer riddim.

Now, this piece of music has been around for a long while,
I couldn't say how many artists have voiced this riddim over the years, but it's in the hundreds.

It's not easy to put together a compilation of this kind because of the amount of versions recorded, but i've put together what I think is the cream of the crop.

This was originally supposed to be a mix, but I can't be bothered at the minute, so you get a nice compilation instead.

Highlights have to be -

Don Carlos with the huge "Lazer Beam"
Bounty & Beenie going at each other with "Spy Fi Die" & "Wicked Man"
Yellowman with the massive dance inducing "Body Move"
Supercat getting wicked & wild on "Vineyard Party"
Jah Screechy with the absolute classic "Walk & Skank"
Flair favourite Lone Ranger with the original "The Answer"
Plus plenty more gigantic tracks by artists such as General Echo, Jah Thomas, Brigadier Jerry, Michael Palmer, Charlie Chaplin, Ranking Joe, Early B, General Trees, Papa Tullo, Peter Metro, Buro Banton, Welton Irie, e.t.c.

The Strictly Biz seal of approval means that we only put dope stuff up here, but I have to say this really is a particularly killer selection.
40 tracks in total.

  2. Dutty Bungle has got to be a contender for best track name.

    1. If I didn't know better Leo, I would probably assume the track was about the bear from Rainbow getting mucky in some way.
True, Major Mackerel definitely is smoking plenty of summink.
